RAESIDE Reclaimed takes denim that already exists and gives it another chapter.
Our Reclaim Your Own service is made specifically for you, using denim supplied by you. Once the laser process has begun, it permanently alters the garment and cannot be reversed.
Working with vintage and reclaimed jeans, we use original artwork inspired by Irish heritage, landscape and exploration to create individually laser-etched pieces. The collection includes our signature Celtic designs alongside the Shackleton series, drawing on the maps, journeys and stories of the great polar expeditions.
Although we use laser technology to create the finished markings, this isn't an automated production line. Every pair is handled individually. The artwork is positioned, scaled and laid out by human hand to work with the particular cut, seams, pockets, fading and character of that pair of jeans. No two pairs are quite the same.
What makes for a great result?
Darker denim works best.
For the strongest, clearest laser finish, we recommend black, dark blue or navy denim. The contrast created by the laser allows the detail in the artwork to really show.
We can laser lighter and washed denim too, but the finished image is likely to be much softer and more subtle. Every denim fabric, dye and wash reacts differently to the laser, so results on lighter or heavily washed denim cannot be guaranteed.

A note about your bespoke piece
To recap - our Reclaim Your Own service is made specifically for you, using denim supplied by you. Once the laser process has begun, it permanently alters the garment and cannot be reversed.
For this reason, bespoke RAESIDE Reclaimed pieces cannot be returned or exchanged, and we cannot accept responsibility for variations in the laser result caused by the original denim, dye or wash.
By sending your jeans to us, you are agreeing to these conditions.
Every pair responds a little differently — that's part of what makes each RAESIDE Reclaimed piece unique.
The Process
Once your jeans have been individually laid out and lasered, they go through our eco wash process to reveal the finished design. They are then dried, labelled, carefully packed and sent back to you by tracked delivery.
From the day we receive your denim to the day your finished jeans leave us, please allow up to four weeks. This may vary depending on our waiting list, so if you're planning to wear them for a special occasion, make sure you give us plenty of time.
