1. Overview

Thank you for shopping with Detta Knitwear.
We take great care in packing and dispatching your order to ensure it reaches you safely and on time.
This Shipping Policy explains our delivery options, timeframes, and related terms.

2. Order Processing

All orders are processed within 3-4 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
You will receive an order confirmation email once your order has been placed, and a dispatch confirmation email once it has been shipped.
During busy periods (such as holidays or product launches), processing times may be slightly longer — we’ll notify you of any delays.

If you need to make changes to your order after placing it, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@dettaknitwear.com
Once your order has been dispatched, we are unable to make changes.

3. UK Shipping

We currently deliver to all parts of the United Kingdom.

Delivery Options:

Standard Delivery (2–4 working days)

All UK orders are sent via a tracked postal or courier service.
Tracking details will be provided if requested, in your dispatch confirmation email.

Orders over £50 qualify for free UK standard delivery.

4. International Shipping

We’re pleased to ship worldwide from the UK.

Delivery Times:

Europe: 5–10 working days
Rest of World: 7–14 working days

International delivery times may vary depending on local customs and postal services.

Shipping Rates:
Calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.

Please note:

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or local handling fees, which are the responsibility of the customer.
We are unable to control or predict these charges and may not be notified ourselves.
If a parcel is refused due to customs charges, we will refund the product cost once it is safely returned, but not the shipping fee.

5. Tracking and Delivery Confirmation

Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

If your parcel appears delayed or lost, please contact us — we’ll liaise with the courier to resolve the issue.

6. Delivery Issues

Please ensure that your delivery address is entered correctly at checkout. Detta Knitwear cannot be held responsible for:

Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete address details; or
Parcels lost due to customer error in the delivery information provided.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we can resend it once the additional shipping cost has been paid.

7. Delayed or Missing Orders

If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated delivery window:

Please check your tracking information.
Check with your local postal service or neighbours (for missed delivery attempts).
If still unresolved, contact us at hello@dettaknitwear.com quoting your order number.

We’ll do our best to locate the parcel or issue a replacement or refund as appropriate.

8. Packaging

Each Detta Knitwear order is carefully wrapped in eco-friendly packaging.
We aim to minimise waste while ensuring your items are beautifully presented and well-protected in transit.

9. Pre-Orders and Made-to-Order Items

If your item is listed as pre-order or made-to-order, please note that production and dispatch times will be clearly indicated on the product page.
Your order will be shipped once all items are ready.
If you place an order containing both in-stock and pre-order items, we may ship them together unless you request separate deliveries (additional shipping charges may apply).

10. Returns Due to Non-Collection

If a parcel is not collected or delivery is refused and it is returned to us, we will refund the product cost (excluding shipping) once it has been safely returned.
Alternatively, we can resend it once the return and reshipping costs are covered.
